Ragi Sweet Paniyaram

500 gms, 1 Kg

Ingredients

Ragi flour - 1 cup

Water – 1and ½ cup

Palm Jaggery – 1 cup (or)Jaggery – ¾ cup (approx…)

Cardamom – 3-4 crushed

Ghee or oil – 3 - 5 spoons

Steps

  1. Mix ragi & water together without any lumps.
  2. Add jaggery and cardamom to the mixture. Stir the mixture
  3. In case of palm jaggery melt it in 50 ml of water. Strain and filter the syrup. Add the syrup to the mixture
  4. Spread ½ spoon of oil in a paniyaram pan and pour the mixture .Leave two drops of oil around it.Flip around the paniyaram .
  5. Let it cook on both sides. Serve hot
